my nose feels a little squished--how about yours.
oops! I fell off! Oh well, this is comfortable too. I think I will stay for awhile.
The puppies are growing by leaps and bounds.  They are starting to get more and more active--and starting to stand on their own. As you can see in the one picture, Glory has to "pin" the puppies down so she can clean them.  In the next few days, they will be opening their eyes.  Glory is still being a very good mom but feels comfortable leaving them and mingling with the rest of the family.  You will notice there are not as many ribbons on the puppies as I am starting to be able to tell the puppies apart from one another.  I never thought I would be able to do that, but the more time I spend with them, the better able I can tell them apart.
WEEK 2 UPDATE
As the week has progressed, there have been some dramatic changes.  The ears have opened, the eyes are opening, and the puppies are getting very mobile.  They are walking all over the whelping box and doing it quite well, I might add!  There is only one puppy who has a ribbon on--and that is only because I can't quite tell the difference between her and Grace.  But I think once the eyes open, I will be able to tell for sure.   The last few days, the puppies have come upstairs to enjoy their future home in the dining room.  Avery has discovered they are there, and believes they are there merely for her enjoyment!  These are some of the shots from the last couple of days.
Thelma's eyes are just starting to open.
