June 2011
Panacea Vizslas welcomed 6 new little faces into the world on June 4. Cagney gave birth to 4 girls and 2 boys! All are healthy and doing wonderful! Colby is a very happy and proud Dad! Currently all puppies are spoken for.
Summer is finally here---we hope to spend some quality family time at our cabin in SD this month as well!

At the beginning of the month, we traveled to Jefferson, WI for a dog show. Booker was moved up as a special; and his very first day in the ring, he earned a 4 pt major towards his GCH by going Select Dog. He showed well the rest of the weekend, but did nothing--we did lots of practicing in the ring!
May 27, 28, 29--This was the Twin Cities Vizsla Club Specialty and Key City Kennel Club show. I am proud and honored to introduce BISS CH Kizmar Panacea BookN Down Whistler ("Booker"). We had an incredible weekend by going Best of Breed at the Specialty, as well as Best of Breed and earning a Group 2 on both Saturday and Sunday! This also brought him up to 19 GCH points. I am so incredibly proud of this young dog--who at only 15 months of age has already attained so much! He has only been in the show ring a handful of times.(7 weekends or 15 shows).....we are blessed to have him in our home!

Cagney was bred to Colby at the beginning of the month.
I took Booker to Waterloo, IA for one day where he picked up his 4th major under Evelyn Hilbert, a breeder judge to finish his CH! I am so proud of this young dog!
February & March 2011
Not much happened on the dog show front in February and March....was too cold to go anywhere; and we enjoyed staying home many weekends!
January 2011
January was a cold, cold month! However, we did manage to get out of town for the shows in Minneapolis the first weekend in January. Glory finished her Grand Champion Title at almost 8 years young; and young Booker earned his third major win!
